Data controller
Signal Pathbase, Level 10, 76 Chausseestraße, Berlin 10115, is the controller for personal data described here. Contact: info@signal-pathbase.digital or +49 30 5551 5410.
Data we process and why
When you contact us, we process your name, contact details, message and service interest to answer the enquiry and take steps toward a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For booked work, we process intake details, document indexes, consultation notes, billing records and the limited supporting material necessary to deliver the service. Legal and tax records are processed to comply with obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
Do not place passport scans, bank statements or health information in the initial contact form. If sensitive or special-category data becomes necessary, we establish an appropriate transfer method and legal basis first.
Website data and cookies
The site uses essential local storage to remember your cookie choice. Optional analytics, if introduced, will operate only with consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and applicable German law. Details and controls appear in our cookie policy.
Recipients and international transfers
Access is limited to personnel and processors who need data for administration, secure storage, communication or accounting. Independent lawyers and translators receive data only on your instruction or with another valid basis. We do not sell personal data. If a service provider processes data outside the EEA, we use an adequacy decision, EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards where required.
Retention
Unbooked enquiry messages are normally deleted after six months. Working files are normally deleted within six months after the service ends unless you request earlier deletion or a dispute requires retention. Invoices and records subject to German tax or commercial law are retained for the statutory period. Backups expire on their controlled rotation.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Contact us at info@signal-pathbase.digital. You may also complain to the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information or another competent supervisory authority.
Security and required data
We use access controls, data minimisation, secure transfer arrangements and retention limits appropriate to the risk. Some contact and case facts are necessary to provide a booked service; without them, we may be unable to proceed.
Updates
We revise this notice when processing or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
