1. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply when you use this website or book document-preparation services from Signal Pathbase. By confirming a written service proposal, you accept the terms in effect on that date. Our work covers procedural orientation, document organisation and preparation recommendations within the agreed scope.
2. No legal advice or official outcome
Signal Pathbase is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation, determine eligibility, submit an application in your name or guarantee an authority decision. German authorities alone decide residence applications. Matters involving appeals, disputed status, criminal issues or legal interpretation should be directed to a qualified lawyer.
3. Client responsibilities
You must provide accurate, complete and timely information, review recommendations, check current official requirements and meet all authority deadlines. You remain responsible for forms, submissions, translations, certifications, fees and decisions made from the information provided.
4. Booking, fees and cancellation
Scope, fee, date and delivery format are confirmed in writing. Payment is due as stated in that confirmation. Rescheduling, cancellation and refund conditions are described in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Intellectual property
Our templates, written gap maps and original website material remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use deliverables for your own residence preparation but may not sell, publish or adapt them as a commercial service. Your documents and pre-existing material remain yours.
6. Liability
We exercise reasonable care but cannot be liable for authority changes, third-party delays, inaccurate client information or discretionary official decisions. To the extent permitted by German law, liability for ordinary negligence is limited to foreseeable loss typical of the service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health.
7. Ending an engagement
Either party may end work for a material breach. We may decline or stop work where the request falls outside our competence, creates a conflict, involves abusive conduct or asks us to misrepresent facts. Fees for completed work remain due, subject to mandatory rights.
8. Governing law and disputes
German law governs these terms, without displacing mandatory consumer protections. If legally permitted, Berlin is the place of jurisdiction. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere. We first invite concerns by email so we can try to resolve them directly.
9. Contact and changes
Questions can be sent to info@signal-pathbase.digital. Material changes apply prospectively and will be posted with a revised update date.
